Nell Taliercio - The Answer Lady Nell Taliercio began her work-at-home career in the telecommuting field many years ago. After the struggles that most face trying to enter the telecommuting field she finally began to find legitimate telecommuting jobs. Nell has done everything from legal document coding to reference verifying to internet research and more. Telecommuting was very good to Nell and she is grateful for all the experience it gave her working at home. For Nell transitioning to a job outside the home to a job inside the home wasn’t as difficult as it might have been transition from a job to a business right away.
After some time she decided to take the knowledge she gained looking for jobs, applying to jobs, interviewing for jobs, and being employed as a telecommuter to help other moms who wanted to enter the telecommuting field.
Nell needed another source of income in order to stay home with her son and continue to help other moms work at home. So she started a virtual assistant business. She actually starting doing VA work in late 2003 for a few business friends and that was before she even knew what she was doing had a name! In 2004 she learned more about virtual assistant businesses, realized that was what she had been doing for her business friends, and started her first website.
Her virtual assistant business grew faster than she thought it would and soon she was making more money than she thought possible when she started her business. She really enjoyed working with her clients and enjoyed the freedom that being a VA brought. The freedom to pick her hours, services to offer, hourly rate, and even what types of clients she'd take on.
Even though her virtual assistant business continued to grow and become more and more successful Nell made a tough decision to retire her business and devote all her time to teaching other moms how to quit their jobs outside the home and make a living at home while raising their children.
She now uses the services of virtual assistants in her own business and knows her business wouldn’t be where it is today without them. Being a former professional VA also gives her a higher appreciation for what her own VA’s do for her business and she makes sure she expresses her appreciation for their hard work.
Nell now spends her time spreading the news to moms that working at home in the telecommuting or virtual assistant fields is very real and with some help and hard work these same moms can quit their jobs outside the home and come home full time.
